David R. Hendrickson

Age 84 of Forest Lake, MN. Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather, David passed away peacefully at home in the company of loved ones on January 13th, 2024.
Preceded in death by son, Louis LeQue; parents, William siblings, William, and Sharon Kebitschek. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Nancy; daughters, Renee (Rick) Beberg, Roxanne (Kevin) Shackle, Leslie LeQue, Julie, Dana (Rob) VanHout; grandchildren, Tara (Brock), Nichole (Michael), Shannon, Tyler, Samantha, Shannon (Marty), Andy, Lindsey, Derek, Sister Concepcion of the Holy Angels, Andreyah, John, Will, Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Isabell, Atticus, Zayden, Sean, Breanna, Ellie, Michael, Miles, Maverick, Madelyn; loving sister-in-law Maureen Kolpien; many nieces, nephews, additional relatives, and friends.
After serving 2 years in the Army, David married Nancy and happily accepted his new role as a loyal family man. He dedicated himself to supporting his wife and children and was a steelworker for 35 years. David was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed life on Big Sandy Lake in McGregor, MN where he lived with Nancy and their beloved pets for more than 20 years.
Affectionately known as “Papa Dave”, his family and friends will never forget his sparkling blue eyes and witty humor. A man of few words, David was an excellent listener and had the ability to make everyone around him laugh; his capacity to love was unmatched.
Services will be held on Thursday, January, 25th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 611 3rd St S., Stillwater, MN. We would like to invite all to pray the Holy Rosary at 10:15am. The visitation will follow at 10:30am, Funeral Mass at 11am, with the internment immediately following at St. Michael's cemetery in Bayport.
