Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Charles’ military service to our country.

  2. Dad, you were a hard working strong man and I was proud to call you dad. You could be very stubborn and very much a “my way or the hard way man”. But I always loved you just the same. I have alot of you within me and everyone would always tell me “you’re just like your dad”. I never thought of it as being a bad thing. I thank you for all the great memories of sharing time riding horses, going to work with you and fishing on Big Marine. I wish we could have worked through our differences as I became a woman, I will forgive you and myself for not taking the time to do so. I love you and I will miss you. Rest in peace dad. Love your daughter, Jeana (GiGi)

    • It’s too bad his money hungry third wife couldn’t realize that he had two daughters who didn’t receive one single thing in fact she threw a lot of it in the trash it saddens me that our father allowed this to happen.
If you even want to call him a father?

  3. May you be in no more pain I hope you watch over the Ma and boys and your sister and watch out for Aunt Vonnie she will be schooling you. RIP Charlie it’s been a pleasure until we meet again !

  4. September 21, 2020 Charlie was always willing to help everyone in the Big Marine neighbored with any project as he is a man of many talents! So sorry for his loss for all of his friends, families, and acquaintances. He is a good kid! Neighbor

  5. I met Chuck when I was 15 in 1965. He was 17 but he told me that he was 16. We became sweethearts for less than a year until he went to Vietnam. He always kept in contact until he no longer could. He was a very dear, faithful friend to the end. Love you for that my dear friend. Miss you. Violet Alexander-Reed
