Age 92 formerly of St. Paul. Loving Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa & Brother. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 30, 2024.
Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy; son-in-law, Chris Currier; daughter-in-law, Diane; great-granddaughter; Lyla; siblings, Viola Dukowitz, Richard, John, Romayne, Patricia Austad. Survived by children, Keith (Carol), Bruce (Tammy), Cathie (Dave) Danielson, Bobbi (Gary) Brix, John; grandchildren, Bob (Lisa), Heather, Bill (Jenny), Andy, Nathan (Patty), Travis (Amanda), Misty (Levi) Field, Sarah (Brian) Dassner, Barbie Goodroad, Theresa (Matt) Edelman, Eric (Grety) Brix, Lindsey (Allen) Gregory, Melissa Gibson; 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barb DeWald, Butch (Linda); many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Bob was the sweetest, kindest, nicest man anyone could ever know or meet. He was hardworking by nature, always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered as the master of all trades; carpentry, plumbing, sheetrock, etc. Bob was a proud Army Veteran, who was dedicated to the American Legion, VFW and Color Guard. He was active in the Silver Fox Club in Saint Paul, MN. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing with family and friends, and we can’t forget to mention his love for cribbage.
A celebration of Bob’s life 12 PM Wednesday, June 5th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment 1 PM Thursday, June 6th at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at assembly area #2.
