Ann Marie had an amazingly strong faith. A Franciscan Sister in Ohio for fourteen years, she trained to be an elementary school teacher. After leaving the convent and returning to Minnesota, in 1977 she met her future husband Ron on a blind date. They knew immediately that they were meant to be together; it was love at first sight.
Ann Marie loved being a wife, mother, and grandma. She doted on her children and grandchildren and loved to spend time together with them, often reading books or playing games. A beautiful woman inside and out, she was always up for anything, whether it be dinner out, visits from friends, Bunco games, shopping, a dress up party, or a sporting event for her grandchildren. The more time with family and friends, the happier she was.
Ann Marie continued to be an example of her faith throughout her life. She believed deeply in prayer and set time aside daily for praying and reflection. We know she is now sitting in the loving arms of Jesus.

Ron and Family, so sorry for your loss. Ann was a very faith-filled fun lady. Enjoyed getting to know her better at our Bunco gatherings. May God grant you peace in your time of grief.
Ann Marie was such a beautiful person. I loved working with her in the gift shop at church. She brought out the best in others by giving her best. She will be missed.
Ann Marie was always so cheerful and welcoming. She provided a safe and loving home daycare for our oldest child and was a gift to us when we were new to the community as well as parenting. May she rest in Peace and our hearts go out to her family.
I only met Ann Marie once during her visit to see my dear friend Daniel, with other members of the family to Busan, Korea. Her presence left a lasting impression on me. There was a calming aura about her that put everyone at ease. I was struck by her quiet strength and how she seemed to see deeply into people, as if understanding who they were with just a glance. It’s a gift few possess, and it left me reflecting on myself in ways I hadn’t before. My heart goes out to my friend and their family during this time. Ann Marie’s warmth, humor, and unique presence will not be forgotten.
Our hearts go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Sending you peace and comfort. Love, Bobbie & Karlye
Ann Marie was one of the kindest, gentle and generous people I have had the pleasure to know.
An absolute joy. She will be missed.
