Alcuin "Al" Wensmann

Age 90 formerly of Mounds View. Loving Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa & Brother, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025.

Preceded in death by wife, LouAnn; parents, John & Rose; siblings, Dick, AnnaMae Stroeing. Survived by children, Debbie (Dan) Korolchuk, Karen (Tom) Wall, Janet (Doug) Rydberg, David (Kris); 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Herb, Patty Wegleitner, Urban, Joie (Ted) Hoffman, Clarice Schleppenbach; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Al loved to fish up at the family cabin in Richmond; he also loved to play cards, cribbage and 500 were his favorites. Al was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and longtime member of the Teamsters Union.

A celebration of Al’s life and liturgy service 12 PM Friday, October 10^th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
