  1. Karen was a great friend and co-worker. She was always there to help both at work and away from work, she really cared about people. My condolences go out to Brad and Steven and family. She will be deeply missed. Sue Swanson

  2. My thoughts and prayers for Karen’s family. Karen was a sweet kind lady. I began to know Karen through the Wyoming/ Stacy Bank. She always was so friendly and talkative when I seen her at the bank/ or in Bruce’s foods. When going through the drive through I’d tell her someone was waiting behind me. But she always wanted to know how we were doing and said they can wait. My mom had been friends with her and DeWayne for many years. Karen will be missed by many.

  3. Brad & Steve, our sympathy to you guys. Your Mom was the best! I’m so glad we got to see her at Armella’s funeral and chat. May God’s love heal your sorrow and replace the heartache with warm and loving memories. Judy Wall Espelien and Jim & Bonnie Wall

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with Karen’s family. Karen was my neighbor when she grew up in Cushing. Faye Swension Syrjala

  5. Brad and Steve, So sorry to hear about your Mom. Always enjoyed the gossip talk we had when she served me at the Bank and wherever else I would run into her in passing. She always made me laugh. May she rest in peace. Becky Van Elsberg.

  6. I have been blessed to be this wonderful lady’s hairstylist for the past few years. I have so enjoyed getting to know her ! She was a lady of many words and had a heart of gold! She would always say this when I would finish her hair ” well I’m all gussied up and no place to go”. Of course I would tell her that she should go out and show off that awesome hairdo! I will forever miss this special lady and the message she would leave when making her appointment. She would almost always say ” Hi this is old lady Nelson from down the road in Wyoming and I need an appointment “. Wow did that make me laugh everytime and if I had a client in my chair they would get a kick out of it too. My heart breaks for you boys and the grandkids. I know she loved you all so much and was ever so proud to talk to me about each and every one of you. She will be with you all in spirit ! Karen ,you have truly touched my life in so many ways and I’ll see you when I get to heaven one day! Prayers and love to all

  7. Sorry for your loss, I have always enjoyed conversations with Karen, from at the bank and when she was picking up her flowers, Karen was so kind. She will be missed. Paul and Brenda Manderscheid

  8. I’m so sad to hear about your mom. I worked with her at Wyoming bank. I just loved her, she was funny and I loved all her stories. I remember she loved her boys, husband, beer and golf. She was a great lady!!! Very sorry to hear of her passing.
