Judith Ann Vincent (Janke) passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at the age of 75, in the place she loved most – her home on her beautiful property in Linwood Township.
Judy was funny, spunky, sassy, and completely herself. She told it like it was and never held much back. You always knew what she was thinking, and there was never any guessing where you stood with her. She could make you laugh, make you shake your head, and sometimes do both at the same time. That was Judy and we wouldn’t change a thing about her.
More than anything, Judy took care of people. She loved having her family and friends around her, and if you came to her house, you were going to be fed. And not just fed – fed far more than you could possibly eat. She made the best food and somehow always seemed to think everyone needed just a little bit more.
Her kitchen was one of the places where her love showed itself most clearly. Even after her cancer diagnosis and the effects of radiation made it difficult for her to eat, she still loved to cook. She would spend time in her kitchen making her favorite dishes for other people to enjoy. That was Judy. Even when something was difficult for her, she was still thinking about taking care of everyone else.
Her home and property became the backdrop for so many wonderful memories—family gatherings, parties, bonfires, food, laughter, stories, and people coming together. She loved having people around her. Those moments may have seemed ordinary at the time, but I know now they were some of the greatest gifts she gave us.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Vincent, in May 2012, and by her son, Bobby Harrington, in May 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Fayth Janke, and siblings Debbie Janke and Gary Janke.
She leaves behind her loving partner, John Schwarz, daughter, Kellie Koskinen (Daniel); sons Shawn Harrington and Matt Vincent; grandchildren Patrick Willey (Elizabeth), Robert Willey, and Michael Willey; great-grandchildren Sophia Tomczak, Ellie Tomczak, and Arthur Willey; and a baby grandson on the way.
She is also survived by her siblings Doug Janke (Shirley), Jeannie Sager (Warren), Jay Janke (Cindy), Roxanne Demulling, and Tracie Janke, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were fortunate to know and love her.
We will all miss her very much, her humor, her sass, but most especially her love.
One of the greatest things she taught us without ever needing to say it: take care of your people. Make sure they’re fed. Make room at the table. Have some fun. Tell the truth. And love your family.
