William "Bill" DeJarlais Jr.

Age 83 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Great-Grandpa & Brother passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 20, 2026.

Preceded in death by parents, William (Mabel) DeJarlais, Sr.; siblings, Ronald DeJarlais, Jackie (John) Kes, Sharon Mork, Tiny (Jack) Weissling. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Marilyn (Maag) DeJarlais; daughters, Teresa (Leon) Wenninger, Denise (Pete) Marier, Jennifer Hamernick, Jessica (Gaarith) Kivijarvi; grandchildren, Drew (Jenna), Aaron (Stefanie), Myranda, Nash, Samantha (Chris), Sierra, Samuel; great-grandchildren, Ella, Marshyl, Joanna, Amelia, Henry; siblings, Gary DeJarlais, Pam (Mike) Wagner; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

For more than 30 years, Bill proudly worked for Ford. In retirement, Bill had more time to enjoy the things that brought him happiness. He and Marilyn loved to travel and make memories together. He enjoyed golfing, playing cribbage, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends. He was also an active and faithful member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. And if there was music playing, there was a good chance Bill was ready to dance. Bill was especially proud of his daughters and the women they became. He taught them to be strong, independent, and to always take care of themselves.

Visitation 4-7 PM Monday, August 24^th with a rosary service beginning at 7 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, August 25^th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Church of St. Peter, Forest Lake. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, White Bear Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of donor’s choice in honor of Bill.
