Jaren D. Johnson

Age 48 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother & Uncle, passed away on May 12, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Jaren is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Johnson; children, Evie Johnson, Maggie Olson, August Whiteside; grandson, Archer; parents, Jim & Char Johnson; sister, Adria (Brad) Crego; nieces, Savanna, Lanie; in-laws, Bruce & Gayle Carter; four-legged friend, Ollie; many other relatives & friends.
Jaren grew up in Shoreview and graduated from Mounds View High School in 1996. Jaren had a larger-than-life personality, and he was often the life of the party. He coupled that with a generous spirit and deep down wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of and was having fun. Some of Jaren’s happiest moments were spent at the family cabin in Webb Lake, Wisconsin. Whether he was out on the water boating and fishing, snowmobiling through the winter trails, golfing with friends, sailing, or flying, Jaren embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. He found joy in the outdoors and treasured the memories created with family and friends.

I have very fond memories of Jaren at family gatherings. He was always so kind and engaging. His daughter Evy had a very special place in his heart. Jaren will be missed by many.
I worked with Jaren for 21 years and we both had a high level of respect for each other. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My heart and prayers go out to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
My heart breaks for all the joy he left behind. He will be truly missed. Jaren’s enthusiasm and joyful spirit will always be remembered through the many memories he created with everyone around him.
