Mary Ann Hoyt

Age 87 of Forest Lake.

Loving Mom, Grandma & Sister passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 21, 2026.

Preceded in by death husband, Melvin; sister, Christine Lendway.

Survived by son, Chris (Jill); grandchildren, Afton (Sean) Mills, Eden, Westin; siblings, Diane Wagner, Janet (John) Stottlemyer, Jimmy Lendway, Gail (Tim) Wondra; nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Mary Ann was born in St. Paul, she spent most of her life in Columbus, where she was instrumental in establishing the Columbus Senior Center and served as the City Administrator. Mary Ann loved bowling and traveling. Most importantly, she cherished her grandchildren.

A gathering to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be 4-6 PM Wednesday, April 29th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake.  Private interment, Calvary Cemetery – Forest Lake.
