David Charles Anderson

March 11, 1947 ~ April 8, 2026

David Charles Anderson of Lindstrom MN, passed away on April 8, 2026, aged 79. Dave loved riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, and mentoring younger family members. His presence brought plenty of shenanigans, teasing and laughter.

Dave is survived by his longtime partner, Shelley Taylor and family, Leah (Andy), Margo (Jeremy), Kelsey and grandchildren, Theo Anderson (Peggy), Mike Anderson (Wendy), Kathy Mahoney (Jerry), Chris Anderson (Jana), Jessica Matson (Dave), Mitch Anderson (Kristen), Devin Anderson (Trisha), Ryan Mahoney, Sean Mahoney (Julia) and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and his biker family.

Preceded in death by his beloved father, Theodore Anderson; and mother, Alice; siblings and their spouses, Betty Lue Bierbrauer, Rose Marie Astrup (Tommy), Laverne Fontaine (Roger) and Donald Anderson (Mary Jane).

Dave was born in White Bear Lake, MN, on March 11, 1947. Dave graduated from White Bear Lake Area High School in 1965 and then went to Century College (Formerly 916) for Welding. Not long after finishing his degree, he enlisted in the Marines where he proudly served and received the National Defense Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and other recognition. After Dave was discharged from the Marines, he became a longtime employee of FMC, which became United Defense and is now known as BAE, where he worked for nearly 42 years before retiring. Never being one to sit on his laurels, Dave started his own company, D.C. Anderson LLC, providing excavating and septic system installation services until his passing.

A celebration of Dave’s life 11 AM Thursday, April 23rd with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A Luncheon will follow the service and then a graveside burial in his family plot at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, White Bear Lake. Attire will be Harley wear, or casual dress. Guests are welcome to ride their motorcycles to escort Dave to the cemetery with One Last Ride.
