William “Bill” Lloyd Haroldson was born on Feb. 09, 1958, in Minneapolis, MN to Lloyd and Dalores (nee Fansler) Haroldson as the youngest of three children. He was Baptized and Confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Richfield H.S. in 1976. He is survived by his siblings; Linda (Mark) Adcock, Westminster, CO; and Bruce (Sylvia) Haroldson, Wyoming, MN.
After graduating from Brown Institute of Technology in Computer Sciences, he worked several places in Minnesota: Computer Operations for GE Capital, in Eden Prairie; Over the Road Truck Driver for Schneider, driving across the USA; Sales for Erickson Asphalt & Concrete, in Princeton; Account Service Manager for Menards, in Cambridge; and Estimator for Park Manufacturing in Cambridge. Bill’s many recreational interests included travel, dirt bikes, bowling, boating, fishing, hunting, and shooting pool with friends.
Bill had a happy life. He loved animals, especially his dogs, and later in life his two cats Laverne and Shirley. He had such a big heart and was always ready to help others. So many have mentioned he could easily light up a room with his expressive smile and distinctive laughter. He died at the age of 68, two months after retirement as he was battling several medical issues.
Bill was devoted to his family. He was known by his family as our very loved and caring “Uncle Bill” for Linda’s (Scott, Jessica and Kristina) and Bruce’s (Britt and Erik) children and many grandchildren. In 1985 he married Debra and enjoyed being Stepdad (Chantel, Sherry, and Eric) and Step Grandpa for grandkids, they have since divorced.

Bill was my youngest brother by 11 years, sometimes he referred to me as his second Mother. Bill had a cheerful smile & attitude, no matter what he himself might’ve been going through. He was helpful and generous to a fault, it was his nature to help out wherever and with whomever he could. I love him so much it hurts and I’ll truly miss him until we are reunited in Heaven. ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
