Audrey "Audra" Hoeller

Age 99 + 6 months of Forest Lake. Loving Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma, passed away at home on January 7, 2026. Preceded in death by husband, Edward Hoeller; parents, Anton & Ragnhild Moen; son-in-law, Doug Tevik; and all of her siblings. Survived by children, Dr. Cheryll Smith, David (Gayla) Hoeller, Cynthia “Cindra” Hoeller; grandchildren, Jason (Lee), Shelby (Jason), Justin (Kristina), Chris (Sarah), Ryan; great-grandchildren, Iver, Hannah (Nick), Sophia, Michael, Zach, Tyler; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Audrey was born in Fertile, Minnesota. She was the youngest of eight living siblings. Shortly after high school she moved to the Twin Cities and it was there she met Ed, her future husband and love of her life. They were married for 48 years until Ed passed away in 1997.

Audrey was truly in her element when she was taking care of Ed, and when she was going to parties, hosting parties, having company at the family lake cabin, and playing board games and cards with friends. Audrey became a beautiful military wife, a role she truly loved. She looked forward to the annual military ball where she was always “the belle of the ball”. Audrey lived most of her life in St. Paul, until a few years after Ed passed away and at that time she decided to move to Forest Lake, Minnesota, to be closer to her younger daughter, Cindra, who became her live-in caregiver two years ago when Audrey could no longer care for herself. Her older daughter, Cheryll, resides in California and Audrey’s son, David (and his wife Gayla) live in St. Cloud. Audrey believed that after death, she would be reunited with Ed and other loving family members. We hope she is.

Audrey’s life will be celebrated with a service at 3:30 PM Wednesday, January 21^st with visitation beginning at 2:30 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A hot luncheon will follow the service with opportunities to share memories of Audrey’s life.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be sent in Audrey’s name to: Northwoods Humane Society, Wyoming, Minnesota.
