Donald Edward Halvorsen

Age 89 of Forest Lake, formerly of White Bear Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa & Great-Grandpa, passed away surrounded by family on December 14, 2025.

Preceded in death by infant daughter, Mary; parents, Edward & Stella; sister, Elaine Tenney. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Rose; children, Mike (Terry), Kristin, Steve (Jodi); grandchildren, Stephanie (Nick), Mike (Heidi), Ryan (Jordyn), Rachel (Luca), Anna; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Owen, Melanie, Arya, Amelia; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Don had a strong Catholic faith, he was active in the Knights of Columbus where he once served as Grand Knight. He worked for 3M for 40+ years, a career that brought him all over the world. Don enjoyed staying active, playing many sports during his lifetime, while still finding time to coach both his sons in youth baseball. Another one of his passions was snowmobiling and was very active with the Forest Lake Snowmobile Club.

The family thanks the staff of Keystone Place at LaValle Fields for their loving care of Don.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, December 23^rd with visitation beginning at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, White Bear Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
