Mackenzie Jo Dornseif

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beautiful Mackenzie.  Gone way too early.  Mackenzie was born March 6, 1993 and passed away June 11, 2025.

Mackenzie grew up in Forest Lake, MN she was a always a happy girl and would do anything for anyone in need without question.  She played the violin, clarinet and many sports  basketball was her favorite. She was fortunate enough to travel to most of our USA, Spain, Europe, Australia and Africa.

She was a special soul that touched the many lives that were fortunate enough to have known her.

Mackenzie is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Mike and JoAnne Dornseif. Survived by her beautiful daughters, Sawyer 2 1/2, and Stevie 9 months; her loving mom, Sara (Chad) Larsin; her sister, Ashlee  (Jared) Pompilio; her aunt, Michelle (Johnny) Ulvin; uncle, Jake (Lael) Dornseif; her nephew, Alex;  niece, Gianna; cousins, Ian, Ben, Allison and Brayden. Mackenzie is also survived by a loving step family and many, many friends. Including special family friend Michael VanKeulen.

A Celebration of Mackenzie’s life will be held August 9th starting at 12 Noon at the Columbus townhall park, 16319 Kettle River Blvd NE.
