About Us
The Roberts Story
We’re proud to be a locally owned, family-operated funeral home serving Forest Lake and the surrounding communities since 2005. But our roots here go back even further.
In 1930, our grandparents, Harold and Margaret Waldo, started Forest Lake Greenhouse. Years later, our parents, Mick and Sandie Roberts, carried on that legacy. In 2000, the next generation their sons, Blake, Corey, and Kelly took the reins of what’s now Lakes Floral, Gift & Garden.
When we saw Forest Lake growing, we saw something else too: a need for a funeral home that felt more personal, more connected, more local. In 2005, we built Roberts Family Funeral Home from the ground up with one goal: to serve families well.
Why The Rebrand?
Now, as we mark 20 years, we’re entering a new chapter. We’re rebranding as Roberts Family – Funerals Reimagined.
It’s more than a name change. It reflects how families want to be served today, with options that are personal, flexible, and real. Whether you want to keep with tradition or try something different, we’re here to support you with care and intention.
The Roberts Difference
We’re not part of a big chain. We live here, raise our families here, and show up when it matters. That means you’ll get real people, hands-on support, and service that reflects your values, not a cookie-cutter template.
That’s the Roberts Difference. Local. Personal. Authentic.
Looking Ahead
This rebrand is about honoring what we’ve built while continuing to grow alongside the families we serve. We’ll keep offering the same compassion and professionalism you’ve come to expect, just with a wider lens and a fresh perspective.
Thanks for trusting us for the past 20 years. We’re excited to keep reimagining what’s possible, together.
