Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Rest in Peace my friend!! Dave and I went to rookie School together and he was my defensive Tactics partner I thought this was going to be scary. As it turns out he was a gentle Giant and a great guy. I finished my career at Anoka Police Department Sgt David Small

  2. I worked for Apple Valley and West St Paul (Chief) for nearly 30 yrs. Crossed paths regularly with Dave. A great Chief and a great man. Blessed to have called him a friend. 4903 and 2601..

  3. My earliest memory of Dave was on the ball fields with my oldest brothers playing softball. He was such a sweet man with a sense of humor and a ready smile.

  4. Lucie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember as a kid going to the Schwartz’s house to see my friend Naomi. Dave was a strong presence even as a kid. He was always kind and sometimes silly. He will be missed. ❤️ with love, Gene and Pat L’Allier

  5. Lucy and family,
I am so sorry about Dave’s passing. I cherished all the moments he and I had at G2 Dental. It was my pleasure to have him as patient. His cheerful demeanor made the day better for myself and the entire staff. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. My God bless David and the family

  6. May happy memories help lesson your sorrow during these difficult days. We are thinking of your family.

  7. Grew up while you were a police officer and chief. You knew most of us kids by name and we weren’t afraid to talk to you. You were well appreciated. Tysm for keeping our community safe!

  8. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family when I met Dave . It was back when I first got on the fire department and he bought an oxygen tank for me. There was a fair and honest man loved what he did. He’ll be sadly missed.

  9. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss… Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

  10. Where does one start, and what does one say about a friend like Dave. I could fill pages with stories, anecdotes, and personal reflections of my long term friendship with Dave.
Perhaps it is best just to say Dave was an exceptionally good man, and an extraordinary friend.
My deepest condolences to Lucy and family

  11. Lucie, my heart goes out to you and the kids. Dave was such a wonderful and good man. Together I know you shared so many memories after so many years together. I hope that will help you get through this difficult
time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
