Frances "Franie" Marie Christianson

frances

January 13, 1946 ~ June 4, 2024

Age 78 of Hugo. Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother & Sister. Franie was called to her heavenly home on June 4, 2024. Preceded in death by husband, Carl; brothers, R. John Moore, Thomas Moore; God-daughter, Shannon Mattson; sisters-in-law, Cindy Moore, Evie Moore. Survived by children, Jill (Scott) Schwarz, Paul (Stacy), Doug (Beth); grandchildren, Hannah, Nick (Faith), Nathan, Carly, Kelsey, Kyle, Brianna, Noah; great-grandsons, Corbin, Franklin; siblings, Joe (Margaret) Moore, Carol (Paul) Oberholtzer, Nancy (Dieter) Patraw, Jim (Dee) Moore, Bill Moore (Barb), John Moore, Bob Moore, Judy (Dave) Darling, Steve (Maureen) Moore; sisters-in-law, Nancy Moore, Jody Moore; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Fran, or Franie, had a passion for service and a deep love for her Savior. She and husband Carl were a great team, raising three children and enjoying the wonder of grandchildren together. Long bike rides were a favorite. Carl passed away in 2006, and Franie was determined to remain in their Hugo home independently, hosting grandkid sleepovers, family gatherings, and inviting others over for lunch or cookies regularly. She could be fierce or tender, a passionate woman of action for causes close to her heart. Faced with heart disease, she increased her activity and barely skipped a beat. She was a true Patriot, working to have Godly representation and holding dear the Biblical roots in our country’s founding. Struggling with illness, injury, trial? Whether family, friend, or stranger, her prayer folder of sticky notes may have had your name written inside. She wanted nothing more than to encourage, inspire, and share the Gospel where the purest Love and Freedom are found. I can still hear her words echoing at the local gas station or other location as she approached any nearby stranger, “I was just wondering if you know Jesus, and how much he loves you…” Visitation 4-8 PM Monday, June 10th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A celebration of Franie’s life 11 AM Tuesday, June 11th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home. Private interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, White Bear Lake. The service will be livestreamed here.
