Richard G. Oase
August 11, 1929 ~ November 12, 2016
Age 87 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Brother, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 12, 2016. Dick retired from Firemans Fund Insurance company after 36 years. He was a longtime member of the Forest Lake City Marching Band, Minneapolis Commodore Chorus, White Bear Lake Masonic Garnet Lodge No. 166, and was a proud Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Vernon, Ken. Survived by wife of 47 years, Carrol; children, Dawn (Hal) Hester, Douglas (Deb), Daniel (Jody); grandchildren, Tyler (Jennay), Joel, Hannah, Matthew Emma Hester, Thor, Apollo, Zoe, Ethan Asher Oase; brothers, John (Dorie), Charles (Karen); many nieces, nephews, other relatives friends. Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday November 19th at Forest Lake Christian Church, 420 W Broadway Ave., Forest Lake, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to the family.
