Scott "Red Dog" Giefer
May 7, 1955 ~ August 10, 2015
Age 60 of Mahtomedi. Loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2015, after a long struggle with Huntingtons disease. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Cindy Hicks. Survived by wife of 35 years, Denise; children, Joel (Katie) Giefer, Becca Giefer; step-children, Stephanie Harvey, Daniel (Jessica) Harvey; grandchildren, Jake Harvey, Ben Harvey, Joshua Harvey, Aiden Giefer; siblings, Marvin (Harriet) Giefer Jr., Richard (Judy) Giefer, Roger (Diana) Giefer, Rene (Dale) Lindorff, Robert Giefer, Lisa Tvedt; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Scott loved fishing, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and watching Nascar with friends. Celebration of Scotts life 1 PM Friday August 14th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake, with visitation one hour prior.
