Lawrence J. Duffy
September 15, 1929 ~ October 7, 2014
Age 85 of Forest Lake, formerly of Columbia Heights. Passed away peacefully October 7th, 2014. He is preceded in death by brother, Raymond. Larry is survived by wife of 59 years, Helen; children, Patricia (Edward) Frias, Carolyn Duffy, Laura (Bruce) Steele, Michael (Colette) Duffy, and Jane (Bradley) Schlagel ; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Thomas; other relatives and friends. Gathering 4-8 PM , Thursday, October 9th and continues 9-10 AM on Friday, October 10th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, October 10th at Church of St. Peter, 1250 So. Shore Dr., Forest Lake, MN. Private interment Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to Alzheimers Association.
Our sincerest condolences go to Helen and her family. Please know that the Duffy family is in our thoughts and prayers.
I never met Mr Duffy, but I know Laura, and she is wonderful. She must have had the best parents ever to guide her to become the great person she is today.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Patty and with your family. We were all touched by the great love and care you showed your dad this past year. May you find some peace in knowing that he is now resting comfortably. We’re here for you!
R.I.P. to a long time friend-a gentleman who kept our cars running for many years. A friend to all and will be missed & prayers to all the family.
I will miss Larry!! He was a wonderful person to work with and to be able to spend time with at parmly. My prayers are with all of you at this time!
