Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. when I first heard of Joel’s eminent farewell only a few months ago, I wondered if I should call him up or get in touch somehow out of the blue. For indeed it had been more than a fortnight since our paths had crossed. Decades. And yet out of the blue like a star in the sky you know it’s always there. So I guess I didn’t want to seem such a fool for not having made contact for so long, I decided not to complicate matters and watch as he made his last farewell. My email read like an old western,” his brother sat next to his dying brother as he breathed twice more, then passed on” I loved it. We played a lot of cowboys and indians as children, and what a better way to leave than through the saloon door.
Thank you so much Joel for not forgetting

  2. Hey Rick, so sorry to hear about this tragedy. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family during this dark moment. Some things there is no sense to be made or understanding to be had. I will pray that you all can somehow find your way through this to some sort of peace of mind, and sooner than later.

  3. Joel, just want to say thanks for the memories. We have lots of them, all in good times. Rick and family, we are so sorry for your loss it’s always hard. We would be to the funeral, but are out of town. He may be gone, but he is not forgotten. See you soon.
