Marian V. Berry

Born in Faribault, MN on September 20, 1920. Passed July 16, 2013 in her home in Wyoming, MN. Preceded in Death by husband, Lloyd, granddaughter Kristine (Krissy Bear); parents, Louis and Laura(Van Thomme) Lamberty; and brother George Lamberty. Survived by her children Tom (Barb) Berry, Dennis (Sue) Berry, Dale (Sandy) Berry, Donna (Hank) Petterson, Carole (Jack) Loken, Stan (Patty) Berry, Lynne Berry; 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; and her brother, Frank Lamberty. During World War II she was trained as a Rosie the Riveter in Flint, MI and was sent to Spokane, WA as a welder. She met Lloyd in Faribault, MN and they were married for 55 years. They moved to Wyoming in 1956 where they raised their seven children. She passed away at her home at Ebenezer Senior Housing in Wyoming where she resided since 2009. During her 57 years in Wyoming, she worked as a cook at the Wyoming Elementary School, then at the Chisago Lakes Hospital. Following retirement she spent numerous hours volunteering. She was involved with Helping Hand, Meals on Wheels, St Peters Church and Fairview Hospital. She will be missed. Visitation 9-10 AM Friday, July 19th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, July 19th at Church of St. Peter, 1250 So. Shore Dr., Forest Lake. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care, St Peters Catholic Church, and St Judes Childrens Hospital.
A very sweet lady who always had a smile to greet us when we saw each other. She was a woman of strong faith! Our sympathy to Stan, Patty and their kids and all the rest of the Berry family.

All my memories of my mom are filled with love an joy. She was a strong and independent woman. All of us kids were overwhelmed with so many wonderful comments and stories that people shared with us about mom. I love her dearly and will miss her always.
