Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. WOW, I just saw this. I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Marge for Dental Technology and worked with her at Valley Dental Arts. We worked in the same department and I had a blast with her as we always played games while working to make the time go more easily. I think of Marge a lot as we had a good relationship, she was a great person. So sad.

  2. Last night I read through all of my classmates profiles for our upcoming 50th class reunion. As I read through our departed ones, I found Margies name and cried like a baby. Like Claudia and Margie, we were childhood friends. She taught me about horses. We too would cross the railroad tracks and sneak over to Monte Allen’s farm. I am so greatful that I was able to reconnect with the two of you at the reunion three years ago. I know Margie is in a beautiful place now and one day we will all see her again. My heartfelt compassion to all of you during your time of grieving and healing. Mike, please feel free to email me if you wish. With love and gratitude for having had Margie as a friend. She was the bestest. Shari Billger (Sharyn Schmidt)

  3. I also just learned of Marge’s death. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to your family. I also remember Mike & Marge in the “Centerville” days and a cross country race in which my horse technically won, but didn’t because I was on the ground with a broken collar bone. That trophy & cash price would have been nice to have had. I also remember the first time that Marge saw the black horse painted like a Zebra – wow the look on her face (it seems to me that she was just recovering from an illness or an accident at the time). I also remember a few (or more) fund nights at the Silver Spur Saddle Club meetings and also at Kelly’s. 🙂 I haven’t seen either of you in many years but I am sad that she was taken as such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. God Bless!

  4. Mike, We just learned of Marge’s passing. We were shocked to say the least. Our heart breaks for you and you family. Memories, well, you know that Marge and I were neighbors and she led me to Monty Allens whenever we could get 50 cents for a half-hour of riding. We could recall memories all day and I hope we can sometime soon in Superior. Our love!

  5. Hello to the McCann family my name is Joanne Luke my family and I new Mike and marge from horseshoes back in the 1970’s, my mother and dad Mary and Rollin Luke would not miss a Friday night fun show especially at rehbiens area, those were the good old days. I remember marge riding the black horse with zebra stripes in the costume class, and she won quite a bit of the time. I always admired mike and marge I was just a young girl at the time, but saw you were very professional horseman, and had fun at the same time, I see she was still a very pretty lady. May God bless MARGE AND HER FAMILY. Take care from the Luke family.

  6. Some people come into our lives and no matter how little or how long we know them they will be forever in our hearts forever. My memories of Marge have become treasures I will cherish forever.

  7. You will be deeply missed by many. I am again stealing Morgan’s words which are so appropriate…HAPPY TRAILS MARGE
