My friend Chester was there to greet meet and his lovely wife Cheryl. and we became friends instantly. Now my house is complete with two spoiled rotten dashunds. My molly and beans that chester have saved for me. I will miss your contagious smile Chester. Your friend pam and molly and of cousre beans
I only knew Chester about a year and a half but his infectious love of his mini dachshunds changed the whole world of this confessed ” lover of big dogs ” ! I can’t talk about Chester without talking about his dogs. My husband and I are now converts – we wouldn’t give up our mini doxies for anything. Chester seemed like an old friend from the first time we met , when he brought that beautiful litter of little dachshunds to visit, so my grand daughter could have the pick of the litter. She fell in love with the smallest black & tan- Lily. While visiting Lily before she was old enough to come to her new home, I fell for a chubby ball of multicolored fur whom we named Bella. Chester was quite the salesman and much to my husband’s “dismay” we ended up with 2 mini doxies . My favorite memory of Chester, was the day he brought Lily to our home to surprise Taylor after school with her new puppy. Even though he wasn’t feeling well he parked down the block so she wouldn’t see his car. When she came from school he got down on the floor and hid so all she saw was this cute little pup when he walked in. He was like a kid himself. They were both so excited ! We formed a friendship over our mutual love of dogs and we always enjoyed Chester’s visits. Since he usually visited with his new litters, it was always hard not to succumb to another doxie. I always teased him that I never got a chance to talk about my dogs because he was always bragging about his dogs! He had the gift of gab and a nicer, sweeter man you’ll never meet. Chester, can I brag about my dogs now ? You are sorely missed and it was a pleasure getting to know you, your lovely wife Cheryl and those delightful little dogs.
