DeWayne L. Nelson
August 23, 1942 ~ May 5, 2012
DeWayne LeRoy Nelson, age 69, of Wyoming passed away on May 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Karen; sons Bradley and Steven; grandchildren Isaac and Nathaniel; siblings Roger Nelson and Darlene (Mattie) Miller; nieces, nephews and many good friends. DeWayne was a dedicated volunteer and he served in U.S. Army. Memorials are preferred. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 9th at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Thursday, May 10th at Faith Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment with military honors will be at Scandinavian Cemetery.
I have fond memories of a child growing up and spending a lot of time sitting in the driveway with Mr. Nelson, Brad and Steven just BS and waiving at the cars that honked.

What I will always remember about DeWayne is his ability to always tell a joke and make people smile even when he was sick. The picture you chose is perfect! Such an amazing man!
