Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was a CNA at Birchwood. I remember CeCe had a great sense of humor with a super laugh! She really holds a special place in my heart. She was a very spirited woman who liked her independence. She would often times call me her sister that she never had. She is greatly missed and always remembered! Heaven has received an Angel home!

  2. Ms. Carolyn was a long time co-worker and more importantly, a true friend to my mother. She was also one of the adults whose presence helped shape my upbringing and my life. May God bless and keep her. May he also comfort her family.

  3. Dear Carolyn: We will miss your insightful wisdom, your calm during a storm, the wonderful giggle you had, your humor and way you always ‘told it like it was’, all the great stories you shared about Roosevelt University, its people and the nearly forgotten stories of how the Union started. To the lady who loved all things orange — you are loved and deeply missed. RIP.

  4. CC was the best grandma ever. Even though she was sometimes a little out of it. I will always love her with all my heart.

  5. CC Was a beautiful lady. A dedicated employee of Roosevelt University and most importantly, a dedicated Union member. She was the Secretary-Treasurer of OPEIU, Local 391 for 40+ years. She is missed by all who knew her. Much love goes to Ric, Rachael and the grandchildren. We loved her also.

  6. CC was one of my favorite cousins. Ma and Carolyn loved to travel to area casinos and I was fortunate to hear their thoughts after returning. She cared deeply for her family, especially Ric, Rachael, Leah, Rylee, Teegan, and Payton. i will always remember her vibrant chatacter, great stories and strong will. RIP

  7. MY CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO THE FAMILY,MAY THE GOD OF COMFORT BE WITH YOU AT THIS SAD TIME. 2 CORINTHIANS 1:3,4

  8. CeCe was a wonderful lady and I will miss her at Birchwood. I would often bring her Hershey’s (plain) bars, chocolate malts and special popcorn. When my Mom and CeCe shared a room for several months, they became very close and even dreamed of sharing an apt if they moved to assisted living:) Coincidentally, CeCe passed away on the first anniversary of my Mom’s death. CeCe is loved and will be missed.
