Ralph D. Schurrer

Ralph David Schurrer, age 75 of Forest Lake and formerly of White Bear Lake, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Roland and Jessie Babe Schurrer; brother, Roland Bud Schurrer and sister, Virginia Seevell. He will be deeply missed by wife, Doris; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Dawn Schurrer and Ron and Kristin Schurrer; grandchildren, Anthony, Zian, Alica, Alexandra, Joshua, Jacob and Abigail; sister-in-law, Jean Schurrer; cousin and his best friend, Robert (Jeannine) Schurrer; nephews and nieces, Jeff and Karen Schurrer, Nancy and Bryan Huber, Gary and Lynn Schurrer, Bruce and Wendy Finstad, Robert and Mary Jo Wirtanen and Sharon and Ted Kepler as well as other relatives and friends. Ralph can be remembered as an avid baseball fan, a former square dancer with Jolly Promenaders and Carver Swingers and a member of Columbus Lions. In his retirement, Ralph enjoyed playing Bingo, enjoyed watching his grandchildrens activities including hockey and dance and spending time with his wife. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18th from 5-8 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19th at 11 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home in Forest Lake with visitation beginning at 10 AM until time of service. Memorials are preferred.
