I loss my brother last year and I miss him every day. I know that God had a special place for him and God has helped me carry on the memories of his life.
Robbie and Sherrie, I’m sure I met your brother somewhere and if I hadn’t I know that he must of been a great brother. I know that because you are two great people that I know and love dearly. I pray that you and your family take care of each other.
When I see you I want to share a beautiful poem which someone gave to me last year. It says so much about the one we have lost.

I am so grateful for these last 2 years that I got to grow closer to my Uncle!
I still come home every day to see your stuff thinking about all the good times we had, to coming in the house from work. With Mason running up to me showing me what mail (treats) that Uncle Danny left in Mason little play mail box. To me going on dates and Uncle Danny meeting the guys I was going out with, to our talks, to our laughs and hugs!
I always cherish all lease great times I had with you!
~Gods Garden~
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place
Then looked down upon the earth
And saw your handsome face
He put His arms around you
and lifted you to rest.
God’s Garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He closed your weary eyelids,
and whispered “Peace be thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didnt go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
~~~
I am thinking about you ….. Love ya, Dele
Dan was a man shaped by the winds and the sands of time.
I have always reminisced about my childhood friends from days long pasted.
One such friend, my best friend Dan whom I have maintained contact with since I was 13 years old.
I recall our best of times ice fishing, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling, duck hunting, trapping, fixing our vehicles, motorcycling, track & field, driving our cars on the frozen lakes and parties just to name a few that come to mind.
Although, the funniest of them all was the time he drove his old Buick Skylark through Forest Lake in reverse because he did one too many natural drops spinning the tires or power braking and me in the back seat guiding and looking out for potential hazards like oncoming traffic and police.
Or was it the time when we were riding our snowmobile on the frozen creek when Dan just bought his new Yamaha 440 and then rolled it – no bodily injuries only his pride and the hood of his new snowmobile. Then soon after, I did the same thing!
Or was it the time that Dan was going to teach me how to water ski and instead I gave a new meaning to the phrase – dive, dive, dive while holding the rope and head down I went deep fast while Dan laughed his ass off so hard that he nearly fell out of his dads boat himself.
I will miss Dan and I will not dwell on the sudden death of my best friend.
I will drink a toast until my 40 yr old bottle of Glenlivet is dry and reminisce as I have done in the past.
Jessica, Jason, Danny, and Danielle.
We are loving you and thinking of you from long distances, and though time and space have separated us, know that we love you and will be here for anything you need now and forever. Your Dad was a very good man, who will remain a very “cool guy” in my memories and I am very saddened by his passing.
Love your
Jessica, Jason and family,
We are sending big hugs your way. We love you and will be thinking of you. I told Coco that your dad went to Jesus, and she said, “with Chahtzee (our old bunny).” So, don’t worry, Coco’s bunny will take care of your dad for you. 🙂
