Date of Birth: May 11, 1947 Date of Death: March 4, 2010 Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother age 62 of Stacy, and formerly of Grand Forks, ND. Passed away peacefully March 4, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by grandson, John; parents, Jess and Carrie Babe Carl; brothers, Jess and Ralph; sister, Linda Jeffrey. She will be deeply missed by husband of 43 years, Lyle; children, Michael (Heather), Cathy (Rory) Paggen, Kevin (Dawn) and Michelle Moravec (John Rue); grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Ryder, Cody, Matthew, Marissa and Mitchell; sisters and brothers, Marilyn (Keith) Barry, Loran (Anita) Carl, Rita (Herman) Zahradka and Wayne (Susan) Carl; sister-in-law, Dolly Carl, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation amp; Mass of Christian Burial Visitation 5-8 PM Saturday, March 6th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr SW, Forest Lake. Further visitation 5-7 PM, Monday, March 8th at Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, ND. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, March 9th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Lorna was fun loving and a great inspiration to people who knew her. We feel the loss.
So sorry to hear about Lorna’s passing. I worked with her for years at Sears Maplewood. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.
