Julie and I have been friends for 36. We met in 9th grade Science class at Southwest Jr. High. We were both new to FL(moving in from different parts of the cities) We thought we were in Hicksville and instantly became and stayed friends. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever. She had a nickname for ever one, and if she couldn’t rhyme it with anything she would shorten it or add a y on the end. She was beautiful, fun, quick witted and always thoughtful. Even thou her health and life had changed so drasticlly, she was always interested to hear about all the goings on with my life and family. Luv ya Juls! Kimmy
We were saddened and shocked to hear of Julie’s passing. She was such a great person to know and visit with at her parents home in Linwood. Our sincere condolences go out to Jan and Gordon and the rest of Julie’s family. She will be missed by many of her friends from over the years. May God bless Jan and Gordon who will dearly miss her.
Our love,
Ted and Annette

I’ll always remember your free spirit… You and your family are in my memories… Vacationing up north, when you opened your house to my family, was amazing.
My prayers are with you!!!
Time spent with Julie years ago helped define those teen years – our days at FLHS, our summers, shooting the loop, a post-grad road trip to Florida in a VW Sunbug. We were a good fit those early years. We grew, lost touch, but connected at reunions and weddings…no matter how much time had passed we could always pick up like it was yesterday. There are few friends in life who fit you like a glove because they know you that well, and Julie’s one of them.
To the family of Julie B.
I am sadden to hear of the passing of Julie, but know she will never be gone from our hearts. I have so many memories of Julie from our adventures growing up in Linwood together. She was always a bright light were ever she went and I will miss her dearly. I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to her parents and children and know personally the pain you will be going through. Please know that your daughter and mother were loved by all who knew her. Please know thatyou days will get easier, but her memory will never fade from your hearts and minds. I will close with what Julie always endearingly called me. Love Cinderalla (Cindy Gatzow Barnier)

I am so sad to hear about Julie’s passing. She was one of my best friends in high school, and even though I moved away right after graduation, our friendship never faded. She was a beautiful, caring, fun spirited woman whom I will miss dearly. My memories of her will live on, especially all the good times we shared since our high school years. We made many trips to and from the Carolinas to Minnesota over the years, with lots of laughs and great times. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends, especially her three sons. She left us too soon, may she rest in peace. With love, Kathy V. Grogan
