  1. Rest in peace Shirley. I will miss your laugh and your sense of humor. I’m sorry I couldn’t visit this past weekend but I’m glad I got to see you a couple of weeks ago. I will always remember the good times you got to spend with us at the Arbors Assisted Living. We enjoyed having you there. You are at peace now reunited with your son and husband 💕

  2. Mom, I was so lucky to have you as a mother. You taught me so much about life and being strong. I thank God every day that he let you be my mother. I prayed to Jesus that he would take you while you were sleeping, so you would not feel any pain, and I was so lucky to watch you take your last breath and go home to Jesus in your sleep and peacefully. I love you mom and you’ll always be with me. As you say your baby Mary.

  3. We have now lost our senior member of the Edison Family. As the wife to Walter Edison and brother-in-law to Earlen Edison, both have deceased. I am the son of Earlen Edison.
I have so many happy memories around Aunt Shirley. The family had a cabin on Spirit Lake in Aitkin County. Grandparents, Helen and Tom Krachuck, purchased a cabin and both of our families spent several weekends in the summer. The dads would go fishing so it was Shirley to made sure we kids stayed in line but she also loved to play 500 with us. Shirley would ensure her children went to Mass on Sunday mornings even at the lake. I will miss her.
