Passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2023.
June enjoyed taking care of people as a nurse, she was employed at St. John’s Hospital in St. Paul for over 30 years. Following that she worked for Home of the Good Shepherd in North Oaks.
Preceded in death by husband, Phillip “Pat”; former husband, Richard “Dick” Cournoyer; son, Michael Cournoyer; grandson, Joseph French; brother, Cletus Gatzke; sister, Marlene Minke; step-son, Trent LaCroix. Survived by children, Bill (Judy) Cournoyer, Bob Cournoyer, Diana Cournoyer, Debbie Flicker; step-children, Tracy Holly, Troy LaCroix; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Patty (Ken) Gatzke-Branson; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of June's life will be 4-8 PM Thursday, November 16th with a service beginning at 5:30 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment 10 AM Friday, November 17th at Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
