On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Gary’s military service to our country.
I will always remember his smile and the cinnamon bread. When he would come and visit Toni he would bring an extra loaf for me 🙂
The most innocent and pure childhood memories; a child stepping into their grandparent’s house.
A warming welcoming smell from the wood-burning stove after treading through the snow-filled yard.
Stomach-rumbling excitement of the best home-cooked foods (that I today would love the recipes to).
The sweet tooth that is aching for the candy pot filled with caramel hard candies and strawberry creme savers.
The tradition of picking out a classic Disney movie on VHS (the real-life original Disney+).
More adventures and exploring a child could imagine, in what presented to be a never-ending yard.
All this and so much more are filled because of the two most loving grandparents.
