Orville E. Hamilton

Age 88, formerly of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa & Great-Grandpa, passed away surrounded by family on June 10, 2022.
Preceded in death by parents, Orville & Gladys; brother, Gordy; son-in-law, Tony Sofie. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Beverly; children, Gene (Julie), Wayne (Dana), Deb Sofie, Jim (Teresa), Karen (Bill) Tessier; grandchildren, Andy (Lindsey), Adam, Trevor, Callie, Paige, Connie, Melanie, Kris (Scott), Katie (James), Anna (Brian), Lauren (Clay), Hunter; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; four-legged friend, Gabby; other relatives & friends.
Orville was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting & fishing. He worked for the MN Department of Corrections for 20 years as a Senior Systems Analyst. Orville was a father figure to each of his children's spouses.
A Celebration of Orville’s life 4-8 PM Wednesday, June 22nd at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake.
I remember long time ago we were at Forest Lake in the winter time and can’t remember if it was a holiday or not. I think it snowed that day also and when it was time to leave uncle lee got stuck and told uncle orv i guess were staying over night and uncle orv said o no will get you out. And sure enough uncle orv got everyone out that night.
