Frank, Jesse, Nick, and Joanna, I offer My most sincere condolences in your loss. I got to know Frank and Jesse a long time ago in high school, but I wish to share a brief story with your family and how your father impacted me. When I met Frank in the beginning of our 10th grade, I met Jim and learned what a great inventor he was. He had a device at his home, an Apple II computer, which no one had at the time. I remember he had games like Choplifter, and my favorite, a game called “Wizardry” I was so enthralled, I just wanted to pick his brain! But, we kids, being kids, at the time, had our minds on other things… Well, fast forward, about 10 years later, I got heavily involved in 3D Animation and Game Design, to the point where eventually I became a college instructor in that field for 15 years. But, I must say, this all started because of Jim, your father, introduced me to that. In a unique way, his knowledge and fore-sight led to what games are today. I guarantee it, because I have had students go onto work for some of the biggest gaming companies in the world… I totally owe my career to Jim Parsons. I will always remember him for igniting my imagination and what the possibilities can be because of him. BTW, He had the coolest name for a dog… Drupa! God bless all of you, and be honored, by the man who is your Father. Sincerely, Scott Weaver
You will be missed my dear brother Jim. Rest easy. Much love forever.
