Robert "Bob" Kissner

Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Neighbor and Friend. Went to be with the Lord and Savior on February 4, 2022 at the age of 88. He was born an only child of Walter and Margaret (Hurtz) Kissner in St. Paul, MN on August 21, 1933. After graduating from High School, he married Betty Johnson (Brown), together they had 5 children. Robert then joined the military after getting a divorce from Betty. He chased his dreams in the United States Army, where he met and married his wife of 63 years Kathleen L. Booty on 11/16/1959 in Colorado. Together they traveled with the United States Army to Louisiana, Kansas, Georgia and even Germany. Robert was both a Vietnam Veteran, as well as a retired United States Army Veteran. Robert was survived by his wife, Kathleen L. Kissner; his children, Georgia (Jerry) Maanum, Rick (Karen) Kissner, Ginny Kissner, Ronnie (Robin) Kissner; his grandchildren, Gina, Wendy, Laurie, Tabbitha, Rick Jr., Tina, Donny, Candida, Joey, Alex and Jessica; 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margaret Kissner; his son, Robert J. Kissner Jr. Memorial Mass 11 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 with visitation one hour prior at Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive in Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, with luncheon to follow.
