Age 22 of Columbus. Loving Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin made his journey to Heaven on January 12, 2022. Preceded in death by grandparents, Gary Fletcher & Jeanne Carter. Survived by parents, Greg sister, Hailey (Jake Bradshaw); grandparents, Roxanne & Mike Dvorak; soul mate, Erin Perkins; aunts & uncles, Andy (Claudine) Triemert, Angie (Jim) Skroch, Kimberly Anderson; cousins, Ryne, Matt, Jac, Jimmy, Alicia, Brittney, Jesse, Jamylin, Erica; godfather, Mike Selbitschka. Gavin loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and exploring nature. He also enjoyed modifying cars and trucks; he had the need for speed. Gavin was known for his big smile and giving bear hugs to the people he loved. A memorial service 6 PM Tuesday, January 25th with visitation beginning at 3 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Stomp Out Suicide. Every time I saw you your excitement and your genuine joy that you got from being the presence of people was just Galactic it was palpable and you were a ray of sunshine I know it sounds cliche but you really worked.. I’ve never had so much fishing other than that time you me and Caitlin went and I called in sick to nursing school and we just fished all day it was the best day ever… I saw you and your smile and just lit up my world your excitement for Life made me excited too… I heard about this today (no social media or old connections with friends really ) .. I went through my old phone and something made me call Brady I thought it was a Brady I knew from elementary school and when he answered I go be rabbit! And he was so excited to hear my voice and then I asked how you were in I just kind of fell into pieces but I know you’re in heaven burn those tires and I love you man you are just a joy to be around honestly you didn’t have to do anything you were just fun to be next to hey life is kind of bizarre right now but I know one day we’ll all be together I love you man. away been kind of a mess but I know you’re in heaven Nelson went to heaven too and I just want you to know that every time I saw you you were just the most enjoyable person to be around I hope you still got that blue Dodge up there can’t wait to come up and do some burnouts with you one day I love you gav..
