Darrell G. Larson

March 10, 1954 ~ January 5, 2022
Age 67, of Blaine, passed away January 5th, after a brave determined fight with ALS. He was a great guy who always had a smile on his face! He loved to camp, hike and bike, was a dog lover and would do anything for the people he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lars and Lorraine, his brother Duane and brother in law Rodney. He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Susan Donahue, Susan’s son, Patrick (Meg). Darrell's children, Tricia (Paul) and Lars (Katie), siblings, Gary, Randy, Terry (LeAnn), Shari Wichern, Lori Klein, Lisa Tanberg (Tim), 8 grandchildren, Paige, Payton, Lars and Lillian Larson, Juniper, Cormac, Quentin and Llewyn Donahue. 2 great grandchildren, Denver and Piper, and many more family members and friends.
A Celebration of Darrell’s life 1 PM Saturday, April 30th with visitation one hour prior at Robert Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. If desired, memorials to the New Brighton Care Center, New Brighton, MN.
Even though his passing has left a huge hole in our hearts, we’re happy that he’s now at peace.
Darrell You were the Best Brother a sister could ask for.. My heart is broken 💔 RIP. I Love you watch over us.
Best father-in-law I could have asked for… always there to help and support my family. We loved u Darrell w 2 lls…last… always willing to listen and encourage my marriage to his son Lars G. He was proud to be a grandfather to my children. He was enjoyed see them any chance he could get… I used to stop by randomly and he smile so big. I remember how he helped us move to our new house, at the short notice to get a truck and pack too. He was so excited to us. Thank you Darrell, we are so happy for u now too, to not be suffering. Hope u are up stairs dancing with my mom too. Cheers tonyour memories!
