Richard "Rich" Mauricio

June 18, 1938 ~ September 11, 2021
Age 83 formerly of Mahtomedi. Loving husband, dad, grandpa & brother went to be home with the lord surrounded by loved ones September 11, 2021. Richard was passionate about his family and Christ. He served his country proudly in the Marine Corps.
Preceded in death by parents, John & Elizabeth; brother, Robert. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, JoAnn; daughters, Christie (Kim) Mix, Cindie Mauricio-Omundson, Connie (John) Nylund, Cherie Mauricio; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Clara Sobaszkiewicz; many other nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, September 17th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A celebration of Rich’s life 11 AM Saturday, September 18th with visitation one hour prior at Roberts Family Funeral Home. On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Richard’s military service to our country in the Marine Corps. It will be a privilege to provide his military honors.
Rich was a great friend, always seemed to be in a good mood. His smile would light up a room. Played a bit of hockey together back in the day. Rest in peace, Rich.
