Tom was my cousin. We had a great time growing up. Some of my best memories are of Tom and me golfing with our dads. He was a funny, laid back kid. I can’t think of Tom without smiling. He was a hell of a good guy.
My sincere condolences to the family of Tom Welsch. Tom was a joyous person, so full of life, and a terrific storyteller. Tom had a youthful zest for life and enjoyed a rich life full of diverse experiences. I truly enjoyed our friendship. It was my honor to know Tom as a friend and cohort. It was a pleasure to work with Tom at 3M Corporate Quality. May his love continue to comfort and console his family! Robert Mitchell, Phoenix, AZ

So sorry to hear about Tom’s passing. I worked with Tom in the Quality Control function at 3M for many years. We both considered ourselves ‘amateur statisticians’ and this led to many lively but friendly debates.
