Age 87 of Forest Lake & Fort Myers, Florida. Loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 14, 2021 in Fort Myers. Preceded in death by parents, Betty Lewellen and Paul Lindeberg. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary; children, Greg (Cady), Laurie (Bernie) Fritzinger, Nick (Kim), Mark (Suzy); grandchildren, Joe (RaeAnn) Lindeberg, Brianne Lindeberg, Justin (Devan), Knowlton, Andy (Whitney) Fritzinger, Alex (Amanda) Lindeberg, Chris (Alicen) Fritzinger, Matthew (Kara) Lindeberg, Alyssa Lindeberg, John Lindeberg, Anna Lindeberg, Tommy Lindeberg; great grandchildren, Elsie and Elliette Lindeberg, Daemon and Logan VonHagen, Jax Lindeberg; sister, Jeannie (Peter) Palmer; sisters-in-law, Jean (Mick) Corbett, Kathy (Jim) Potter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In 1952 Larry joined the Navy and was an Air Traffic controller. After the Navy he married Mary and went to the U of M, then started his career as a banker. Larry had a long and illustrious banking career. He finished his career as President of Forest Lake State Bank. Larry was a Past President of Independent Bankers of Minnesota and sat on several boards of the Independent Bankers of America. Larry loved boating, fishing and hunting, activities that he shared with his children and grandchildren. Larry was able to go fishing for and catching Grouper as recently as January. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, February 19th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, February 20th at The Church of Saint Peter, Forest Lake, with visitation from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. I started working during fishing and hunting season so I don’t think I met Larry until winter time. 😘 Larry loved life and was always so generous. I just know Larry will be missed by so many.
