Age 87 of Forest Lake & Fort Myers, Florida.
Loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 14, 2021 in Fort Myers. Preceded in death by parents, Betty Lewellen and Paul Lindeberg. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary; children, Greg (Cady), Laurie (Bernie) Fritzinger, Nick (Kim), Mark (Suzy); grandchildren, Joe (RaeAnn) Lindeberg, Brianne Lindeberg, Justin (Devan), Knowlton, Andy (Whitney) Fritzinger, Alex (Amanda) Lindeberg, Chris (Alicen) Fritzinger, Matthew (Kara) Lindeberg, Alyssa Lindeberg, John Lindeberg, Anna Lindeberg, Tommy Lindeberg; great grandchildren, Elsie and Elliette Lindeberg, Daemon and Logan VonHagen, Jax Lindeberg; sister, Jeannie (Peter) Palmer; sisters-in-law, Jean (Mick) Corbett, Kathy (Jim) Potter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
In 1952 Larry joined the Navy and was an Air Traffic controller. After the Navy he married Mary and went to the U of M, then started his career as a banker. Larry had a long and illustrious banking career. He finished his career as President of Forest Lake State Bank. Larry was a Past President of Independent Bankers of Minnesota and sat on several boards of the Independent Bankers of America. Larry loved boating, fishing and hunting, activities that he shared with his children and grandchildren. Larry was able to go fishing for and catching Grouper as recently as January.
Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, February 19th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, February 20th at The Church of Saint Peter, Forest Lake, with visitation from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Mary, Greg, Laurie, Nick, & Mark, We are so sorry for your loss. We think back on all the wonderful family vacations and laughter. We will miss him
Uncle Larry, quiet, but funny!… and when we got him to chuckle, that was the best. Loved to chat fishing with him! Loved his oyster stew. So glad his body will be at peace now and in the loving arms of his maker, but our hearts are with you all as you grieve. -Jenni, Ben and Matthew Corbett

So many thoughts and prayers to the entire Lindeberg family! My years at the FLSB were definitely some of the best years! I started working during fishing and hunting season so I don’t think I met Larry until winter time. 😘 Larry loved life and was always so generous. I just know Larry will be missed by so many.
Goodbyes are for those who love with their eyes. For those who love with their heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation.
Laurie, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. Sorry for your siblings and mom and all the grand kids. No one like our dads’. Your dad always seemed like such a happy fellow. Hugs for you.
