Thomas J. Nase Sr.

Age 80, formerly of St. Paul. Loving Dad, Grandpa, & Great-Grandpa, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020. Tom was born in St. Paul to Robert & Dorothy (Presler) Nase and graduated from Harding High School. He had 4 children with his first wife of 9 years, Diane (Waller) Nase. He met the love of his life, Alice (Grieman) in 1978 and they were together for 42 years. Tom worked for the railroad for 44 years. He became a Mason with the Braiden Lodge 168 in 1977 and was a 32 degree mason. He became a St. Paul Osman Temple Shriner in 1978. Preceded in death by grandparents, William & Clara Presler; parents, Robert & Dorothy Nase; wife, Alice Nase; sons, Tommy Jr. & Greg Nase; favorite dogs, Tigger, Cobaka & Baikal. Survived by children, Candy (Scott) Kampfer, Jim (Gloria) Nase; daughter-in-law, Lisa Nase; brother, Robert Nase; several grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; dear friend & “brother”, Jim Opine Sr. Graveside service 10:00 AM Saturday, January 9th at Union Cemetery, 2505 East Minnehaha Avenue – Maplewood, MN.
