Age 77 of Forest Lake. Loving Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Friend. Passed away peacefully at home on December 28, 2020. LuAnn was passionate about children, education & family. She was a teacher, a manager & a scout. She loved to quilt, was devout in her Lutheran faith and active with her church.
Preceded in death by her other half, James; parents, Lawrence & Angeline Lubitz; sister, Linda Lubitz. Survived by children, Mary (Mark) Jaspers, John (Jessica), William (Teresa); grandchildren, Thomas, Christian, Johnny, Lisa; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Sandy) Lubitz, Terry (Joan) Lubitz,; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of LuAnn’s life will be 10 AM Thursday, December 31st with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment in Holt Cemetery - Holt, Minnesota. I was saddened and so sorry to hear of LuAnn’s death. I remember her well from growing up in the Holt community. She took me under her wing at my first job with NW Bell Telephone in Grand Forks.
