Age 75 of Withrow, MN. Loving husband, dad, papa, brother, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2020 after complications with his health. Russ was born in Crookston, MN and grew up in Mentor, MN. He enjoyed being a part of a large, close family. He worked as a construction contractor and was always willing to lend a helping hand on any project. He loved many outdoors activities: hunting, fishing & golfing were a few of his favorites. Most of all he loved & treasured his grandsons.
Preceded in death by parents, Art & Martha; sisters, Katherine & Elizabeth. Survived by beloved wife of 54 years, JoAnn; daughter, Heather (Jeremy) Proulx; grandsons, Ethan & Connor; siblings, Gary (Mireille Bardy), Dale (Carol), Dennis (Suzanne), Gloria (Richard) Ophus, Vern, Richard, Donna (Ron) Moses, Nick, Roger (Renee), Lauren (Deb); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Russ’ life 7 PM Friday, September 25th with visitation beginning at 5:30 PM at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, Forest Lake.
