Keeden was in the 6th grade at St. Francis Middle School and he loved his community. It was important to him to live life to the fullest and give back when he could. He was a lifelong patient of Gillette Childrens Healthcare.
Survived by mother, Alissa Campbell; grandparents, Leon & Stacey Smith; aunt, Kelsey Campbell; uncle, Kyler Smith.
A celebration of Keeden’s life 11 AM Saturday, August 15th with visitation one hour prior at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Gillette Childrens Specialty Healthcare.

5th grade graduation! So very blessed that I had so many years teaching Keeden! He was a funny, smart, kind and determined young man! He has brought so much joy into peoples lives. I will never forget the first thing he told me with his amazingly cool communication device… I love you! While giving me a huge smile!
Being the grams of an angel is the most amazing and beautiful experience one can ever be lucky enough to have in one’s life. I’m glad keeden chose me.
Keeden had a lot of people that took care and loved him I’d like to give a special shout out to Ashley Allen and Lynn Moore
I loved coming home from working in other states and countries, saving all my change and single dollar bills and money from foreign countries, and giving Keeden his “Bag of Loot”. Seeing that smile when I would hand the bag to him and the joy he would get when he would go to the Coinstar at the Walmart and seeing him hoot and holler so loud, people would stop and watch Keeden and see the smile on their face….yes he had that effect on everyone he encountered.
Such a sweet angel we had to send home. i am and will forever be blessed I had the chance to be this boys auntie.
What great memories of Keeden.
I share this candle in honor of you, Keeden and your favorite color. This SC Nana loves you and your sweet, loving ways; loved sharing my “favorite Clemson Tigers” stuff with you and making the nurses a little jealous of all your orange/purple stuff; also sending you your gift cards you loved to swipe in the machine. Rest In Peace sweet boy; we are going to help take care of mommy; you will forever be in our hearts; it has been an honor and a privilege to love you You will always be the KING of my great grands photo wall ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you nana that was nice candle green his favorite
Keeden’s smile would light up a room. His laugh was infectious. I would see him coming down the hallways and he would give me his big smile. I am so blessed to have had him in my 4th grade class. I will miss him so much. Run free in Heaven, sweet boy. I love you always! Ms. Shari Clark
Seeing Keedan’s smile was one of my favorite parts of any clinic day. It was a pleasure to get to know him and his family over the past 8 years; he went through so much and always with style and a smile. He was so full of love, and so loved by so many people. I’ll miss you Keedan.
I had the privilege to be one of Keeden’s home nurses last year and go on a couple adventures with him. From swimming in Lake George to going to the Zoo on his birthday, as well as being nervous and looking the other direction while he road on his go cart. You were one of the sweetest (and mischievous) kids I got to know during my time with BAYADA. Watch over your amazing family and keep smiling from Heaven.
Mommy loves you to the moon and back. I know you will forever be in my heart. I know you’re dancing in the sky!
Although Keeden was never an actual student in my classroom, he became a student of my heart! Every Friday we had a BIG dance party in the kindergarten wing of Cedar Creek Elementary School. The best part of this event was that no matter who you were, you belonged at the dance party! It didn’t matter what grade you were in, or whether you had feet, wheels, or walkers, music and dance brought us together and we all became united for that 20 minutes each week. As Keeden and I passed each other in the hallways, I got to know him a little better and I invited him to the dance party. Whenever he was able to come, he was the “best dressed” kid there. He observed, smiled, and loved the music (some songs more than others)! The best part was when I would tell him he couldn’t laugh at my dance moves…which of course made him laugh more! The other students would gather around him as they saw us dancing together. He was such a wonderful example of strength and joy! I’m so blessed to have crossed paths with him, even if for such a short time! ~Kathi Greene–Kindergarten Teacher CCES
This is from Aunt Fan is SC Wouldn’t you know it!! The very first time you came to visit me you took a nap on my couch just like all the other grands have done except you were in my lap….. Look at the picture below; since both of us like the color green, I asked you if I could have your shoes and you told me I’d have to go to Walmart…….. Keeden, you will be missed by all your loving family; I hope there was a pair of green shoes waiting for you in your new Heavenly Home.
Goofing off with his grandma Anne aunt kels he sure did love his sharks
This boy had more joy, smiles, and love than most gown adults. His heart was so big and was raised by the most amazing family. Most of us wouldn’t know each other if it weren’t for this amazing little boy. My heart breaks thinking of him.
My baby ❤️
Dear sweet Keeden! Buddy I hope you are having a blast in heaven running and talking up a storm. You always made my day! If my day wasn’t going so good, when I’d help your nurses lay you down to rest and you would “kick” me and then giggle! Your laugh was contagious! I will miss you little buddy! ❤️🥰 Ms. Sue K.
The first day I walked into Keeden’s room, I knew that this boy was something special. There was a light in him that drew you in and captivated you the moment that you met him. I am very grateful for the privilege I had being part of Keeden’s life. There was never a dull moment, he was always ready for an adventure big or small. He always helped me bring out my goofy side! He will always hold a special place in my heart. The time spent with him is unforgettable and will forever be cherished. I’m grateful that you are with Jesus and living an eternal life in heaven full of peace and joy. I miss you angel!
