Michelle passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2020. She was born on May 30, 1982 in Bozeman, Montana.
Michelle will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Paul brother, Nathan (Jaci); adored nephew, Owen; adored niece, Evelyn; grandmother, Joann Humphrey of Albany, OR; uncle, Larry (Rebecca) Humphrey of Albany, OR; aunt, Janet (Eric) Schmid of The Dalles, OR; aunt, Jane (Jim) Copp of Adin, CA; and many cousins. Michelle is preceded in death by grandparents, Owen & Betty, Kenneth Humphrey; brother, Phillip.
Michelle lived in Bozeman, spent 5 years in Powell, TN and graduated with the class of 2000 from Forest Lake High School in MN. She then went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in History from Montana State University in 2005. After college she worked for Taymark Corp. in White Bear Lake where she had many friends.
Michelle loved history, the outdoors, book club, movies and KPOP. She was in the Living History Society, loved anime conventions with friends, hiking around Minnesota and traveling, especially to see family in Oregon. Michelle was a joy to all who knew her and will be missed by all those who shared her ability to love and care for all those around her.
A celebration of Michelle’s life 5-7 PM Friday, August 14th at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home.
I remember the first time I met Michelle; I was interviewing her for a position in the Marketing Department. She exuded an energy like no other person. After hiring her, we worked side-by-side for years. I was always in awe of her hard work, creative ideas, and boundless interest in so many things. She will be remembered fondly.
Still missing you. It feels unreal that you are gone. I wish we hadn’t grown apart. I loved you like a sister.
