  1. Matt was such a funny guy. Always the jokester who could get a laugh out of anyone. His witty comments and contagious laugh will never be forgotten. Rest easy my friend! I’ll miss you! Things won’t be the same without you. Praying for the Smith family at this time during this difficult loss.

  2. I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts go out to the family. I worked with Matt several years ago at Mercy. He was such a nice person to hear on the phone. He was charge and I was the staffer. Sometimes he’d stop down and visit us, sometimes he’d stay for a double. He was just so nice. I pray for peace and comfort for his family and all his friends.

  3. I am so sorry. Matt was always an easy going guy that would help if you needed help and always had time to say “hey”. I enjoyed working and talking with Matt. You will be truly missed my friend. Pam S 4E

  4. Cindy, Demi and family, Here is my memory of the kindness of Matt. I left my wreck of a car parked at your house to go on a girlfriends getaway. When I came back Matt had worked on my car making multiple improvements on it without having even asked. He had the key in case he needed to move it. I never forgot that.

  5. So sorry for your family’s loss. Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sending our love, Jamie Longtin and Family

  6. Matt was a great neighbor, always saying hi and stopping on his walk with his doggies to say hello. Without being asked, he had a willingness to help out with things like plowing snow or offering to borrow the right tools for job, or giving a bit of home owners advice when discussing troubles. We will remember his kind neighborly ways and he will be missed. We send our prayers and love, the Nipp family

  7. My sincere condolences, I had the honor of working with him. He encouraged me along with other staff on 2 west to go back to school. I always thought about him. He taught me to make sure my lines were all straight and not all tangled up. I was programming Pumps before I’d entered the program. I learned so much from him and I will never forget him. He was by far one of the best nurses at Mercy. Rest In Peace Matt, Erica

  8. Such a shock to hear the news of his passing. Matt had a great sense of humor and when ever I would work with him he always had great stories and jokes to share. He was a great nurse and was willing to help anyone in need. My heart aches for your loss, may you find comfort in all your cherished memories. He was a good man.
